Holiday Baking Classes 節日蛋糕甜點班


It's hard to believe that Fall is already here when Southern California's temperature is still in the triple digits. But Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year holidays will be here in no time. It also means that family gatherings and party celebrations will fill our calendar. Do you want to impress your friends or guests with a homemade dessert this year ? Mark down on your calendar the following dates (or iPhone, iPad).

1) Tiramisu 提拉米蘇

October 27,2012 10am-12pm



Most recipes and store bought tiramisu involve raw egg yolks. If you are concerned about salmonella but love tiramisu then this class is for you. I will show you how to make a creamy tiramisu with cooked egg yolks.
大部份食譜及市面上出售的提拉米蘇都是用未經煑熟或消毒的生蛋黃,有機會接觸到沙門氏菌,對身體健康會有影嚮。我會教大家怎樣做香滑的提拉米蘇而不須要擔心細菌感染。

2)  Chestnut Cake 栗子蛋糕

November 17, 2012, 1:30~3:30pm


Fall and winter are the seasons of chestnut. A pillowy sponge cake with chestnut cream will be perfect to complete a dinner.
秋冬正是栗子當造,將它做成軟滑栗子忌廉,入口清甜而不膩,加上鬆軟的蛋糕,便成了一個完美無瑕的甜品。


3)  Black Forest Cake 黑森林蛋糕

December 1, 2012, 1:30~3:30pm


This cake is a crowd pleaser. No matter young or old, you will love this decadent chocolate cake that is layered with chocolate cream and pitted cherries.
黑森林是人見人愛的蛋糕,老少咸宜,香濃的巧克力蛋糕內有車厘子,再加上巧克力奶油,簡直是绝配!
