QQ Korean Bread 韓國麵包

According to the census, California is one of the states which has the largest population of Asians in the country. Besides Chinese people, there is a large population of Koreans in Los Angeles. Here in Diamond Bar, Korean restaurants and grocery stores are very popular as well. My kids are very fond of Korean cuisine such as Korean BBQ ribs and tofu pots. My girl even studies Korean as a foreign language at high school. The wall of her room is filled with the posters of her favorite band "Infinite".

Banana Bread 香蕉蛋糕

I don't remember when the last time I made banana bread was... It must be at least three or more years ago. This is one of the easier recipes that started my interest in baking when I was young (I mean in my teenage and early twenty years).

Whole Wheat Chocolate Muffins with Oats and Ground Flaxseed

This is an ultra-healthy muffin with whole wheat flour, oats, ground flaxseed and mashed sweet potato. They are so moist, soft and filled with healthy stuff that they are good for breakfast, snack...or eaten any time of the day. Did I mention that they are super easy to make, too?

Belgian Waffle

After trying a number of waffle recipes, I am still not satisfied. They are all a bit dense and not like the store bought ones that are light, crispy and fluffy. Finally I came across this recipe from Allrecipes.com. It has yeast in it to help produce the light and fluffy texture. It is super simple to make with all simple ingredients ready in the kitchen. You don't have to whip egg whites or use the folding method.

Double Chocolate Muffins with Flaxseed

I haven't made muffins for a long time. This morning my sister called me for a recipe I used and coincidentally my daughter asked me to make muffins as well in the afternoon. So I dug up the recipe and baked 12 muffins. When you look at the ingredients, you know that they are super healthy: whole wheat, flaxseed, wheat germ and no butter !
